TIPS ON SHIPPING YOUR MOTOR
All motor work can be shipped UPS. if 150 pounds or less. To insure no breakage during shipping, disassemble your motor to ship in multiple boxes. Be sure to pack enough packing material around all sides of pieces being shipped (boxes may be dropped during shipment). If the heads or barrels are in the same box, you may want to double box them so they will not hit one another and break the fins! For packing the lower end, we recommend first placing it in a plastic or metal milk crate and then in a cardboard box. This will make it a lot safer against dropping. Be sure to insure your motor. The cost is minimal and well worth it if it is lost or broken in transit. Don’t forget to put a note in for your work order, a return address, phone number, and E-mail address. If we have any questions, we’ll call you.
